若干生真面目すぎるところはあるが、なかなかいい前衛Dubだ。Rhythmがゆったりした正統派Reggaeになっている。Melodicaが効果的。
何箇所かで歌い出すBurroughsも貴重だｗ。

Dub Spencer & Trance Hill／WILLIAM S. BURROUGHS IN DUB ［Echo Beach］ release 2014
でも似たような形で取り上げられている。そっちはかなりRock的で凝った仕上げになっていたが、Dubblestandartの方は伝統的なRaggae Dubですね。
初出の発表は、2つとも同じ頃だ。どっちが先なんだろう？

Dubblestandartの方がオーソドックスな作りなので、こっちの方が先のような気はするが、よくわかりませんね。
もしそうだとしても、狭い欧州Dub業界の仲間だろうし、DS&THが「おれたちもBurroughsやりたいんだけど、いいかな？」、Dubblestandart 「おお、いいよ。やれよ。楽しみだなあ」なんてやり取りがあったかもしれない。

Dubの世界にBurroughsを持ち込んだpioneerの作品なので、記憶しておきたい。
今後もDubにBurroughsを持ち込む連中は出てくるだろうな。DubとBurroughs朗読の相性がいいのは、このDubblestandartとDS&THでよくわかったよ。発見だった。
