DR. BENWAY: "Cardiac arrest! Goddamit it!" He looks around and picks up a toilet plunger… He advances on the patient... "Make an incision, Doctor. Limpf," he says to his bald assistant... "I’m going to massage the heart."
Doctor Limpf shrugs and begins the incision. Doctor Benway washes the suction cup by swishing it around in the toilet-bowl…
NURSE: "Shouldn’t it be sterilized, doctor?"
DR. BENWAY: "Very likely but there's no time." He sits on the suction cup like a cane seat watching his assistant make the incision... "You young squirts couldn’t lance a pimple without an electric vibrating scalpel with automatic drain and suture... < -- omitted -- > All the skill is going out of surgery… All the know-how and make-do. Ever tell you about the time I performed an appendectomy with a rusty sardine can? And once I was caught short without instrument one and removed an intrauterine tumor with my teeth. That was in the Upper Effendi, and besides when she is dead..."
(DR. LIMPF): "The incision is ready, doctor."
Dr. Benway forces the cup into the incision and works it up and down. Blood spurts all over the nurse, the doctors and the wall... The cup makes a horrible sucking sound.
NURSE: "I think she’s gone, doctor."
DR. BENWAY: "Well, it’s all in the day’s work." He walks across the room to a medicine cabinet... "Some fucking drug addict has cut my cocaine with Saniflush! Nurse! Send the boy out to fill this RX on the double!"

ベンウェイ医師 「心拍停止だ！ ちきしょうめ！」 医師はあたりを見まわし、トイレづまり用吸盤を取り上げる・・・ 医師は患者のほうに歩み寄る・・・ 「切開したまえ、リンプフ先生」と医師は肝をつぶしている助手に言う・・・ 「私は心臓マッサージをしよう」
リンプフは肩をすくめ、切開に着手する。ベンウェイは吸込みカップを便器の中でゆすいで洗う・・・
看護婦 「先生、消毒しなくてはいけないのではありませんか？」
ベンウェイ医師 「まあそうだが、時間がない」彼は籐椅子のような吸込みカップに腰をおろし、助手が切開を行なうのを見守る・・・ 「きみたち青二才は自動排膿管と縫合装置のついた電動メスがなければにきびも切開できやしない・・・ < -- 省略 -- > あらゆる手腕は手術には不要になるのだ・・・ すべてのノウハウや工夫などは・・・ そうそう、私が錆びたイワシのかん詰のあきかんで虫垂切除をやってのけたときの話をしたことがあったかな？ それにいつだったか、何も道具を持っていないのに急患がやってきて、子宮の腫瘍を歯で食いちぎったこともある。あれはエフェンディ上流だった、それで結局女は死んだ・・・」
（リンプフ医師） 「切開しましたよ、先生」
ベンウェイは吸込みカップを切開口に押しこみ、上下に動かす。血が噴出して看護婦や医者や壁に飛び散る・・・ カップは気味の悪い吸引音をたてる。
看護婦 「先生、死んだようです」
ベンウェイ医師 「まあそれも仕事のうちだ」 彼は部屋を横切って薬品戸棚に歩み寄る・・・ 「だれかいまいましい麻薬患者のやつがコカインにサニフラッシュ（便器用洗剤）を混ぜやがった。看護婦、子供を使いにやってこのRXを早く補充させといてくれ」

今回のversionでは、DHHのとぼけた音楽がついて、コント感が増している（笑）。やっぱ音楽がついている方がおもしろいね。
